Job Description

We are hiring a detail-oriented Podcast Time Stamper to listen to podcast episodes and mark specific timestamps for key topics, guest introductions, questions, and segment transitions. These timestamps will be used for episode descriptions, YouTube chapters, blog summaries, or editing cues.

Main Responsibilities

Listen to podcast episodes (audio or video format) and note the exact time key moments occur
Identify and label: topic changes, guest intros, major takeaways, Q&A sections, ads, or CTAs
Create timestamp summaries (e.g., '00:03:15 – Guest introduction')
Submit final time-stamped lists in structured format (text file, Google Doc, or spreadsheet)
Ensure accuracy in timestamps and clarity in segment titles
Optional: Suggest highlight clips or segments for repurposing

Required Skills

Strong listening and concentration skills

Familiarity with podcast/audio players (Spotify, Apple Podcasts, YouTube, etc.)

Basic typing and formatting skills using Google Docs, Notion, or Excel

Required Tools

Access to a timer or built-in timestamp tool (e.g., VLC, YouTube Studio, Descript)

Good English comprehension (Swedish optional if podcast is local)

Optional: Experience with transcription or podcast editing
